TRANSITIONING YOUR WARDROBE

Summer is just around the corner and I am more than ready to get a tan and switch to dresses for a change. This black denim button up sleeveless dress from Zara is the perfect transitional piece from spring to summer. It is thick enough to keep you warm and you can easily layer a long sleeve under to cover your pale arms like I did lol. I kept the look casual with my go to pair of Air Force 1's and a white Naked Wardrobe bodysuit, my wardrobe staple I literally have it in every single color.

Helpful tips for transitioning your closet from spring to summer:
  1. Organize your closet
  •  First and foremost this is where everyone should start when transitioning seasons. Putting your winter coats away in boxes or at the back end of your closet so you have room to see all of your summer pieces is key! Otherwise you will be stuck aimlessly looking through your clothes for hours trying to pick out what to wear. Trust me this has been a reoccurring thing for me until I decided to finally commit to organizing each season.
     2.   Basics
  • Basics play an important role in transitioning your wardrobe. From solid colored bodysuits and t-shirts like this Naked Wardrobe one that I am able to wear it in the fall and winter but also use it as a simple transitional piece into spring and summer on cooler days. Basics t-shirts and blouses give you the ability to create new outfits that you already have in your closet but may not have thought to pair with.
     3.  Ditch the layers
  • I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets a little bit of separation anxiety when hanging up the leather jacket for the season once the warm weather hits but that warm weather calls for lighter jackets, kimonos, tank dresses and most importantly getting that summer glow!
Hope these tips help you start to transition to your summer fits!
