NEWPORT FOR THE DAY

Today my roommates and I decided to head up to downtown Newport for lunch at Diego's (the best local Mexican spot around) since my roommates have never been there, I insisted they needed to try the guac, hands down best guac you will ever get at a restaurant in my opinion! While waiting for our table we decided to walk around, bouncing from shop to shop, I totally recommend a day trip with you're friends or boyfriend or girlfriend to do shopping, bar hopping or go out for a nice dinner at my personal fav The Clarke Cooke House a must eat.

I didn't get many up close outfit pics but these will have to do! It was a little chilly seeing how we ate outside so I was glad I wore my Belle Vere leather moto jacket. I purchased this jacket at Marshall's for a really good deal compared to what it retailed for! It is hard to tell in the photos but my Hudson jeans are actually a dark shade of army print not a solid color! If you are looking for a good place to get a monogram necklace the one I am wearing is from The Purple Mermaid and they are to die for and you are able to customize them to any initials! My sneakers are the Old Skool Vans in black/white, perfect for casual, comfy, edgy looks. The last piece of my outfit is my monogram louie bag, Neverfull size medium! My go to bag, it fits everything I need in it literally, even my laptop! And it has lasted me forever, I  got it Christmas of 2013 and haven't had to repair it yet!

Okay the most important part lol the food!! As I said before if you go to Diego's and don't get the Guac why even go there lol. What makes it so delicious is because it is so fresh, unlike other restaurants that make a huge batch at the beginning of the day and use that batch all day long. For my meal I got the salad "The 5th Ward", which comes with a bunch of yummy veggies and your choice of topping I decided to get tofu on mine and coolest part, it is served in a huge tortilla bowl!! If you haven't already been to Diego's I would 10/10 recommend definitely worth the waiting time. Oh and do not forget to get a mango marg!

ALL BLACK WITH A SPLASH OF GUCCI

      Moto leather Jackets by far have always and will always be my ultimate number 1 favorite fall/winter add on to any outfit for a edgy girl boss look. I paired this black leather Belle Vere one with a black My Style Mode funnel neck dress, as seen on Kylie Jenner and her bff Anastasia. Patent leather is a big trend this fall, I recently purchased these black patent leather booties from ASOS and cant wait to style them with more outfits this fall. I added a pop of nude to this outfit with my Gucci disco crossbody and enjoyed a beautiful day in Newport.

DIOR ADDICT

Style Addict, Dior Addict same thing right?? Lately, I have been really into graphic tee's and wearing more casual chic everyday pieces paired with a fire black bootie. When I saw this Dior addict one I knew I couldn't pass it up. I live by Levi 501 shorts literally, all summer long I have probably gone through every wash. This particular pair I found at Urban Outfitters and was immediately obsessed because I had more difficulty finding a black pair. I dressed the look up with my Hermès reversible belt that pairs well with any style jeans or shorts. I honestly cannot even remember where I got these yeezy season 2 inspired booties, because I have had them for almost two years now. A similar site where you can get an exact look alike is Public Desire. The location of this photo includes a view of where i grew up, by the ocean. This specific location is a park directly off the bridge in Newport, Rhode Island.

DENIM ON DENIM

Denim is one of my favorite wardrobe essentials, not only because it is a timeless piece that you can pair with anything in your wardrobe but also because it gives you the ability to dress your outfit casually or for a more dressed up look and ready for the night! For this look I paired this edgy pair of One Teespoon Freebird jeans with my recently purchased Carmar denim cropped medium wash jacket and of course pulling the look together with my absolute favorite shoes the Gucci Princetown Velvet Fur slippers and Topshop sunnies. I hope this look can give you some ideas with how to pair your denim together! My one and only tip with mixing denim is, similar washes always look better together than two completely different washes!
