STREET CHIC
One of my favorite styling techniques is mixing classy with street wear. For instance, pairing glamours chic royal blue pumps with a Off White racing top and distressed Re/Done light wash jeans and a black classic puffer jacket. I love pairing the unexpected and having fun with styling outfits, for the sole reason that the clothing you choose to wear and choose to style together is a representation of who you are without using words to describe yourself. This is probably one of my top favorite things about fashion, how we as individuals have the opportunity to wear anything we want and having what we wear be a representation of our own unique personality.

MIA IN MIAMI

Shopping for trips is one of my favorite things to do... maybe because it gives me an excuse to shop instead of shopping for no reason lol. This was a quick little three day trip so I managed to fit all of my belongings in a carry on, which worked out perfect. it was nice not having to deal with the un needed stress of checking a bag, where I am always worrying about if my bag will make it to the right destination.
This trip was special because I got to reunite with two of my best friends who I haven't seen in what feels like years, since I've been abroad in Italy! We had the ultimate girls trip while relaxing in the Miami heat during the day and hitting the club scene by night. Below are a few of my favorite looks I rocked during the trip! I wanted to do a full outfit recap of what I wore in Miami, with links to each item that I can find for you guys! Along with a some sneak peeks of how the trip went down.

NEUTRALS 2.0
Today I decided to make the best of this gloomy on and off rainy day and shoot some looks. Lately, I have been all about being comfortable while still being on trend. I layered my beige cropped Champion sweatshirt from Urban Outfitters with a Lovers & Friends matte puffer jacket. I got this jacket last fall and haven't stopped wearing it since I got back from Italy. It is the perfect layering piece and also perfect for this chilly weather we are having on the East Coast. I paired the jacket with black straight leg raw hemmed Citizens of Humanity jeans, belted with a white shoelace and Adidas white falcon kicks.
Skaters have been rocking the shoelace belt for functionality for years now. You don't have to spend a fortune to keep your pants up to be stylish anymore because shoelaces will do the job too and keep you looking on trend at the same time. Another advantage of using shoelaces as you belt is that you won't have to take it off before your next security check at the airport, which I know is always a hassle whenever I'm wearing a metal belt.
